    yes, and when the only ones with them are crimminals, the canadian people will say that the laws failed and should be changed back, and the government will say...no...at least we tried, we have been seen to do something!...all those tyrpe of laws do is turn law abading citizens into crimminals...when our gun laws came into effect here in `96 illegal possesion of handguns went through the roof!!...why? because people were afraid and they wanted the means to protect themselves and their family...there is more than enough evedince to prove that gun control fails and if anything increases armed and violent crime, i can only assume that the only reason politicians want gun control is to take away a citizens power to defend themselves against an aggresive government!

    If instituting "bans" actually worked, why not one, simple, complete and overall ban?

    Ban doing things to others you don't want done to you and yours.

    There. One short, and simple law. But obviously bans and more and more laws simply do not work on the lawless. Such laws and bans only impact the already lawful and peaceful citizens. But the left-wing libs will either never realize that fact or at least won't admit it.

    I think he's right they should ban all hand guns within 1000ft surrounding his home, that includes the cops they should leave him nuded of his security force and let total anarchy reign 1000 ft aroun his house. the jackass.

    I actually found most Canadians to be conservative, The liberals are all in the Gubment..Just as the US Government is getting, They think they know what is best for everyone..[:(]

    That makes sense. I think that in most English speaking countries, the conservatives just want to be left alone. By contrast, the liberals all want to either be in or run the government.

    The gun ban in Canada is a myth. they forced most people to register all guns, and to purchase a handgun has many restrictions, but they can be bought there..Dumb laws like, Guns locked up and ammo in a different room. Same story there though, only the criminals are free to do with their guns as they see fit.. The law Abideing citizen has to jump through hoops..[:(]

    Don't answer any questions on here that your not sure about. I've contacted two of the moderators and have yet to get a respose.
