I believe that if Obamama wins, the KKK will not be very pleased to say the least.
Also there are alot of men who still believe that a woman should not do the job, should be a housewife etc.
Me, I have no problem having a female president or a black president. But I have a huge problem with either of these two choices we are being given now.

McCain is almost as hopeless as Hillary and Obama. Three socialists running for POTUS. If either one of them wins, I am buying guns before the inauguration and burying them in the back yard.
I would vote for a woman or a black person in a nanosacond -- if it was, for example, Condi Rice. I have never felt so discouraged since I was old enough to vote. Have never missed a single election in my life, but if McCain is the Republican candidate I would consider staying home. Let Hillary ruin the country for four years, and maybe the people will wise up. I can wait four years.

Possibly at higher risk than some other candidates, but only because they are such a-holes, not because of skin color or sex.
I agree though, it is a very poor showing of candidates this time around. McCain is slightly better than the 2 democrats, but is no conservative. I wish Newt Gingrich had run. The question is highly distasteful and itself objectionable.
I'm no political fan of either Senators Clinton or Obama, but the LAST thing I'd like to see is any attempt on the life of either one (let alone a successful one).
Taking the question at face value, my answer is no.
Lots of nutjobs want to kill the POTUS. I don't think Clinton or Obama would attract disproportionate amounts of them capable of doing so, and I am certain the US Secret Service would be no less vigilant than usual in protecting them.
Don't forget, though some despise them, they are also loved by many.0 -

And in the meantime President Clinton would raise your taxes at least once and likely more than that, plus appoint two or possible three liberal US Supreme Court justices to erode your second (and first) amendment rights, among others, for decades to come.
How happy will you be then?
IMO, McCain isn't perfect, but he's by FAR better than either of the Dem candidates, and if you stay at home you might as well vote for Clinton.0 -

I don't know about assasinations and the KKK. But if it comes down to Obama vs. McCain, I may actually vote for Obama.
Reasons:
1st: I intend to send a message (as I hope other conservative will as well) to the GOP that I will no longer hold my nose and vote the 'party line' for a party that has obviously abandoned me.
I want the GOP to have cleansing or die a much deserved traitiors death.
2nd: Obama being a 1st term Rep in Washington will very likely have a VERY difficult time getting ANYTHING done.
As he loves to point out, he's not a Washington insider. And there are alot of politician's from both sides that will resent this upstart's campaign. And that he and not they who have beenin Washington FOR YEARS, is in the White House.
I don't think Obama will get much cooperation w/his promised "changes".0 -

well captplaid, i dont give a rats ass for your fbi, or your cia for that matter, they are irrelevant to me...so that being the case, yes, i think that the chances of an assasination of clinton or abama are higher than usual.
i dont believe it SHOULD happen, because it isnt just an attack on the individual concerned, it is/would be an attack on the office of the president of the united states on america.
and as an example, it wouldnt neccesarily be by an american citizen killing aboma...remember, he was ecucated as a muslim, and if radical muslims get the idea into their heads that he is doing anything anti muslim, they will do their best to kill him!...they will class him as a traitor to islam.
it is a real possibility that it could happen, and if someone is really determined to kill him or anyone else they will do it and the best security in the world wont save him.
with clinton, i think it would more likely happen by the traditional "nut with a gun" which of course would lead to new and strict anti gun laws being passed against you, the law abading u.s. gun owning citizen.
in my opinion all gun owners are between a rock and a hard place!...i just dont think you will win which ever way you turn!
your second ammendement gives you certain protections, but there are other ways to hurt gun owners there...you dont have any guaranteed right to own ammunition as an example...so there would be nothing stopping your politicians banning all ammo that is or has been used by the military...if that happens, you loose just about every calibre and guage going!
i think there is going to be a lot of heart break for all gun owners in the u.s. before long, and i dont have a clue what you can do about it!...you can resist, but unless you band together in your 10`s of thousands and stand together you will fail, go it alone and you will die alone and the media will say....
