This is what's for dinner tomorrow night, bacon wrapped, with a Cabernet and maybe a Cigar afterwords to finish it off. Yes, that IS the whole tenderloin! Anyone want to come over?

SENIOR leader of al Qaeda-linked group has been arrested in Iraq, state television Iraqiya said overnight.
Iraqiya did not say whether US or Iraqi troops had arrested Abu Omar al-Baghdadi, leader of the self-styled Islamic State in Iraq, a body set up by al Qaeda's Iraq wing and other Sunni militant groups in October.
It said he was captured in the Abu Ghraib area, which is on the western outskirts of Baghdad.
The Islamic State of Iraq has claimed a string of major attacks in Iraq, including the kidnapping last week of 18 people, mostly police officers, who were subsequently shot, with photographs of the killings released on the Internet.
Earlier this week a security official said Baghdadi was among dozens of al-Qaeda militants who stormed a jail near the northern city of Mosul, freeing up to 140 prisoners, in one of the biggest prison breaks since the US invasion of 2003.

Not saying that it won't be good. But you really need to buy that cut from a good butcher shop, and not your local mega-market food store. From a good butcher, it will be dry aged to perfection, and you won't pay for all the water and "other injectibles" in the packaging. 0 -
Dang thats tasty, but 'round here its a BIT cheaper! 0 -
What time? [:p] 0 -

Tenderloin, while tender, is QUITE tasteless (bland) and really needs something to make it taste better. A Double Bacon wrap adds that back in. If you've never had it, I highly suggest it!0 -

Come on over! Drop me an email and I'll give you directions. I work in Fairfax and it takes me roughly an hour to get home.0 -
Cook it as a roast. slice up garlic cloves and poke them in around the roast with a knife. rub with olive oil and lightly season. put in roasting pan on top of celery, carrots, onion slices. put a little beer in the pan.
start it at 450 for 10-15 minutes or so and then back it down to 350. roast until center in middle is rare. Remove from oven and lightly cover with foil for about 20 minutes. ends should be med to med. rare and center should be med rare to rare. DON'T OVER COOK IT!!
Save the bacon for breakfast!!
Enjoy!!0 -
