According to that "strength meter" it can be very simple to change a weak password to a strong one ... for instance;

OICU812 ... is weak

but

OICU812! ... is strong

Mixing upper and lower case ... using the "@ instead of an a" or a $ instead of an S also changes the strength of a password.

Just FYI ... password don't have to be hard to remember random strings as some programmers would have you think.

Also, sometimes people worry too much.

My passwords are in the computer language of (then) FAA computers. Very industry-specific. Hard to break. Joe

Some of my passwords are required to have 2 each capital, lowercase, special characters, numbers, minimum 10 keystrokes. That's hard to do, and even harder to remember.
