    Met her at a wedding shower for her cousin. The sad thing is, I was going to be the groom at that wedding. Broke it off with her cousin and later married her.

    I wasn't too popular at their family reunions for a while.

    Work. I'm a paramedic. I was working part time for a private service and was taking a patient home who would be dependent on a ventilator for awhile. My wife was the respiratory therapist who met us at his house to set it all up. I was goo-goo from the start. She wouldn't give me her phone number, but after 10 minutes I finaly got her to give her email out to me. After two months of me asking (begging), she caved and we had our first date. It was all downhill from there.

    Freshman year of college. We met in Algebra. That was 22 years ago. Been married 15.

    Set up on a blind date by my best friend with his sister in-law, We went as a large group (all military back then) and I ended up spending the evening talking to one of the sister in-laws co-worker/friends instead.

    I made the right choice, we've been happily married for 22 years.

    The original blind date sister in-law has been married for several years also, last I heard though it involved several husbands, attorneys, and judicial types.
