stupid stuck case in die!@&^&
Usually use carbide dies but just started reloading 50AE and they do not make carbide for it. 2nd case went in and will not come out. Guessing I am lubing improperly. I sprayed One Shot on the outsides of the case, do you spray on the inside also? I sprayed from the top at about a 45 degree angle so figured some lube got into the case...???? HELP!!!

You will get lots of easy advice here, but if all fails, put the die in your freezer overnight. Then, the case will turn out with the help of some pliers or vice grips easily.....[:)][:)]

#1, Your spelling the name of that case lube wrong, it's "One Sh'i't"
#2 Get your self some Hornady "Unique" or some "Imperial Sizing Die Wax"
Smear a (very) thin film on the thumb, index and middle fingers of the hand you use to insert cases into the press. Enough lube will transfer just from handling the cases to prevent your problem.
BTW, you did clean the inside of your dies before using them didn't you? They are shipped with a anti-corossion film on the inside.0 -
I use Hornady One Shot exclusively and have never had a problem in the last ten years. Many people make the mistake of spraying their cases, but not waiting a few minutes for the lube to dry, before resizing the case! I bet thats what happened in this instance! Stand all your cases in a loading block, spray one side, rotate the loading block and spray the other side, then WAIT three or four minutes for the lube to completely dry before resizing! 0 -
If you are really in a hurry with One Shot, use a blow dryer, BUT DRY THEM . That is how it works.And very well for me,too, no complaints on One Shot. Ever. 0 -
I don't know if this will apply to you, but, I discovered that it is a good idea to disassemble and thoroughly clean new dies because I have gotten many dies that have metal shavings and metal dust in them, I'm just say'n......... 0 -
Best I've found is Dillon case lube. You might also want to invest in an RCBS stuck case remover. 0 -

i use the RCBS case lube for everything that need lube and so far no stuck casees. 50ae, 223, 270, 8mm,
almost bought some of the spray the other day and a thought came to mind not broke dont fix.0 -

I actually let it sit for about 5 minutes while I did something else. Did not clean the 50AE die before use...bet that was the problem. CRAPOLA!!! Oh well, live and learn.0 -
Imperial sizing die wax,...nuff said. A stuck die means a lube problem. 0 -
I see a lot of post about stuck cases.
A lot like the spray on stuff, I have never tried it. Also seems a lot of the stuck cases were using the spray on stuff
I use the old RCBS jell lube have not had any stuck cases from anything I have to lube. (yet)

7.5 SWISS.EVEN the 284WIN cases formed to 7.5
I could be wrong but it looks like the spray just does not work for everyone. Now with this said it does not get to cold here in Florida. so I know the jell stuff works in temp down to 30.
