ST. CHARLES, Mo. - What the ...? A St. Louis-area town is considering a bill that would ban swearing in bars, along with table-dancing, drinking contests and profane music. City officials contend the bill is needed to keep rowdy crowds under control because the historic downtown area gets a little too lively on some nights.

    In church once and a guy said that he could stand up cruse three times and get a hail of Amens.

    OK I said, let's see it.

    The guy stood up and yelled..
    "I walk By God"
    "I talk By God"
    And By God I am one happy man"..


    He got his Amens..

    a guy i shot competition with owns a restaurant/bar on 5th street, it gets pretty rowdy at night, they do dance on the tables, and let it all hang out on occasion, but as far as the "historic" value goes that part closes down at 5 pm, and it has no effect, not to mention THERE IS A HUGE CASINO a block away

    My mother lives in St. Charles. I'll call her and tell her to tone it down a little and maybe they won't need the ordinance.
