NEVER A DULL MINUTE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD

Neighbor just called me to let me know we have a person living behind us that suffers from Schizophrenia [:0].
Guy was kicking the neighbors fence down so neighbor called the law. when the deputy went to see what was going on the guy came to the door with a hatchet and told the female deputy this is a lethal weapon, she drew her gun and the guys dad took the hatchet from him. SAID HE WAS OFF HIS MEDS. (GREAT)

The law baker acted him tonight but he will be back IN A DAY OR 2. (GREAT.)

THE OFFICER ALSO SAID THIS MIGHT HAVE SAVED THE PARENTS LIFFE's TONIGHT.

So I guess the guy WAS pretty bad off. (GREAT)


im sure this will not end here tonight [:(][:(][:(]

BAD ENOUGH TO HAVE TO LOOK OUT FOR NUT CASES OUT AND ABOUT, NOW I HAVE ONE IN THE BACK YARD.[V]

    yeah...the same happens here all the time...the trouble is these kooks have rights and cant be forced to take their medicine...this was one of the reasons they forced our gin laws onto us!...to "stop mentally disturbed people getting guns"[:(!]
    i said if they are that dangerous, lock them up!...the government response was..."we cant do that, they have rights"[:(!]
    what about my rights to protect myself and my family from these phsyco`s?[V]..
    guess you got to be a minority of a whacko to have rights here now[xx(]
    you may have to end up leaving to protect your family...either that or make sure they know where you keep your guns!

    now i have to keep some closer. fine line we have to walk now. law states no gun can be in reach of a child under 16,

    i guess i will just have to do the time if my daughter had to get one of my guns to defend herself if im not home.

    guess it is a good think the guy didnt kick my fence down, my dogs would have ate him.
    i guess i would get in trouble for that also,
    looks like im in a no win [:(][:(]

    yeah chev...but it just aint right!...damn their rights...what about the peoples rights to be protected from these people who refuse to take their medicine!
    i know a few people who have been diagnosed with schizophrenia and once they knew they had a problem they took their medicine every day, and you wouldnt know there was any problem at all!
    they should be locked up if it can be proved they knew about their illness but refused to take their meds!
    and doctors should be given the power to have them locked up if they refuse to take it!

    Im gonna have to disagree with you there dan kelly. We cant just lock people up because theyre crazy. Next well just lock people up because theyre white, black, yellow. It just cant work that way, and i wouldnt want it to.

    would you like to be locked up if you misplaced your meds? what if he ran out, tipped them over, someone hid them from him to get him locked up?

    If that wakko aproaches your wife, kids, or you with that hatchet, knife, or even a stick, SHOOT TO KILL. That's about the only advice i can offer.Stay out of it's yard, and secure your property to the best of your ability, and CARRY..

    hell i cant sleep at night now [:(]

    meds or no meds , best not come in my yard with anything other then fingers in (on) his hands. if the dogs dont eat him and a threat is made well i need not go any further

    Well chevelle that is a very dangerous situation and I am glad that you are fully aware of the risk.
    What a deal, a schizophrenic neighbor who like to pack a hatchet!
    Many of these people do fall between the cracks, not quite crazy enough to be locked up, but too crazy to be out among society.
    I hope it works out ok for everyone concerned, hope you don't have to shoot him.

    but he can still kill you just as [xx(]
