I know this is not as near a life changing, family problem, legal problem, tax problem, neighbor problem, coming out of the closet problem, God in country problem, world hunger problem, and Bush has nothing to do with it,
but - My 50th birthday is this coming week and Mrs.Blue is taking me shopping today.
What to get??? I've narrowed it down.

Cubs, I hope you know how much that outfit is worth? In the "70's, I used to buy Fender twin reverbs from the down and out musicians for $50-$75 and re-sell them. Lordy, I wish I had a couple of them now.0 -

I bought a used HAMER from a local shop. took it home and looked it up on the net.It has 10 EXTRA frets, a scalloped fret-board and a bunch of other stuff i'll never understand, mostly because i don't play guitar.
It was made in the mid '70's and sold for $2200 NEW.[:0]
I got it for $150, with the original case and 2 sets of strings.and a few picks thrown in.
Since i don't play, i took it to a buddy's house .His garage is floor 2 ceiling MARSHALL/Peavy/Moss Valve. All the guys had a hack on it ,and it it is unanimus. THAT AXE RIPPS.
SO,,, i sell it to a "buddy" for $250. Dude still owes me $150. and that was 3 YEARS AGO!![:(!]0 -
