What year is my Suzuki 4x4

I bought a Suzuki 4x4 at auction Saturday and don't know the year. There is no dealer in my area to check with. Do any of you have access to serial number data or can point me in the direction?

NR is JSAAK46K622104525
It automatic EIGER. Thanks for any help. Tom

    1999 if I'm reading the vin # correctly. It's been many years since I've had to know how to do that.


    Heck, just look on the door tag on the inside of the drivers door jam.
    That will tell you month, year, and place of manufacture.

    It's a 2002.

    The tenth digit of the vin identifies the year. Yours is a "2", so 2002.
    Years before 2001 use an alpha digit in the tenth position to indicate the year.

    I was thinking 8th character in the vin starting at "B" and skipping "I". It's the 10th one though. They changed it 2002 huh? Learn something new everyday.[:D]

    Tomh has it correct.
    It' a 2002 model.

    It should have a sticker somewhere on the frame. Most likely around the front of the machine somewhere. That has the country of origin and have the EPA's confirmation along with the year it was manufactured..

    Thanks to all and I'm sorry I didn't provide much info. I bought 2 ATV's at auction Saturday. Mississippi does not require title so they are sold as is/where is.

    I think I did OK. The Suzuki Eiger is an 02 as someone pointed out. In great shape 3K miles w/Warn winch and is automatic. Haven't driven it yet, too darn cold. 1150 bucks. Other one is 95 Yamaha Kodiak 400 w/warn winch. 1050 and also 3k miles. Both are 4wd. All tires appear to be original so will need replacing before too long. I can probably run both all summer before replacing.
    Thanks to all who replied and again, sorry for not much info. I'll be darn glad when it warms up a little and I can try them out. Tom


    PS Also bought a Ford 3000 tractor at another auction. 2K. Didn't do all that well on this deal. It may have to go back on the block after I paint it and put a little lipstick on the pig. T

    Ford 3000 is a very good utility tractor. They used to bring $5000 around here in good shape. Much better than the grey market tractors.
