What's on your ipod/MP3 Player?
This should be fun!
I didn't own one until recently when I purchased an ipod touch. It's like the iphone but not a phone.
My music includes a pretty wide range.
Alan Jackson, Disturbed, The Foo Fighters, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Chevelle, Willie Nelson and many, many more. I have probably 300 songs on thier with 100 different artists/bands. Mostly Rock or Alternative stuff, with some classic rock and country in there too.

Ive got the 60gig Ipod Video
95% rap
other 5% are movies.
Ive got 2000+ songs and i think they only take up 1 gig
and about 6-7 movies which are about .539 gig0 -

I've got a iPod Shuffle. Very low tech but very small. Right now it is filled with Linkin Park. 0 -

On MP3 I have been listening to a bunch of Pink Floyd, Amon Armoth, Deamon Hunter, Swallow The Sun, Otep, Thrice and Tool, depends on what mood I'm in 0 -
My I-pod has everything from ABBA to Saliva on it. NO cRap, sorry it is a MUSIC player, not a cRap player. 0 -
After I fould out that I could out that a car and home stereo was available with usb support. I thought hmmm why not just plug a 5000 gig external hard drive into them and have every song that was ever written Also every audio book too...guess what it works I just love mp3s. 0 -

Who needs an ipod when you have radio?

I have a couple of Ipods and a Sanza. I found out the Sanza will not play Audio Books (I spent a lot of hours on-line to find out that).
On trips between Boise and San Diego there are a lot of areas that have no radio coverage (or just NPR which is just like no radio). So I load several Audio Books, plus all my music on the Ipod Mini and play it trough the truck radio.0 -
I hijacked my daughter's i-pod shuffle that she got for Christmas (she only listened to it for 2 days). Now it's got Waylon, Hank Jr. and Sr., George Jones, The Police, John Mellencamp, Prince, Journey, Styxx, Men at Work, AC/DC, Van Halen, Mettalica, and some 80's hair band mix stuff. I like it all except rap. 0 -
I won an MP-3 player a couple months ago at a convention I attended.
Now I am hooked...With only a few exceptions, all of the stuff on mine is 60-70's rock. There is also some country from that era also.0 -

Got a 30gig Zune recently. Love it. Nice having most of my music with me at all times.
Got a little county and a little Rock/Metal on it.
Have not bought any music online. Just ripped allmy CDs and anybody elses I can get my hands on.0 -

Got an 80gigger. Besides a small handfull of photos on it, music consists of everything from ABBA to ZZ Top. Johnny Cash, Eagles, Zepplin, The Cars, Anythign Box, Elvis Costello, Hal Ketchum, Duran Duran, Yellowjackets, Rippingtons, Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington, Creedance, Lynard Skynard, Miles Davis, Coltrane, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Bill Monroe, and the list goes on. I refuse to buy any apple products. I hate apple's computers and see their continued existence (and thriving) based on a little gimmick like the iPod to be quite irritating. If they were to drop computers and market themselves solely on the iPod, or at least make that their flagship product and do computers on the sideline, i might feel differently.
Apple did not invent the MP3 or the MP3 player but for some reason they have the lion's share of the market. Nor are their players better than their competition- in fact the shuffle is inferior to most competitor's products.
Oh- and what is an MP3? It is an MPEG 1, layer 3. Which stands for Moving Pictures Experts Group, and as for why 1-3, look it up on wikipedia.
But then, I've long hated apple, and if you have and like an iPod, that's your business.
I have a small Zen MP3 player and an Audiophase one as well. Both are 1 gig.
They are filled with a mix of German rock and pop, classic rock, oldies, and classical music. No rap.0 -
I dislike headphones/ear buds, so no pods, or Mp3s. When I have a Truck radio that will allow the Pod to plug in then I will have one, til then a few hundred CDs get me by. 0 -
I have an iPhone which "only" has 8GB of memory.
