I thought of an Analogy
I realize this is flimsy but it seemed like a good analogy when it popped in my head.
I lit a fire in the woodstove this morning and am enjoying the heat that is being produced much as I do everyday of the cold months.
As I was sitting here thinking how I use fire everyday and enjoy the benifits legally, the thought crossed my mind how some use the same fire as an arsonist in a criminal manner to destroy property and lives.
Why is it that when an arson gets caught the liberal media does not go on a tyraid about how fire needs to be banned?
The media directs their attention to the arson and not his tool.
Fire is not even a topic in the District of Columbia. They don't even
Why is it then that when a murderer, armed robber, VA tech mass killer or any criminal who uses a firearm as a tool to commit their crime we always hear about how evil the firearm is?

I hear that.
I have seen reports of women or men burning their house down with the wife or husband still in it.
The report will say nothing about how evil the fire is but will fixate on the nutcase murderer.
I have read reports on how a woman or man kills the spouse with a firearm and all you hear is:
We Need More Trigger Locks. We need More Restrictions. We Need More Waiting Periods. We Need more Buy Back Programs. Guns Are Killing People.
And then in the same article they will say how the abused husband or wife went insane temporarilly and couldn't control herself and at her breaking point pulled the trigger.0 -

It is quite simple, the media reports the "news",.....the same media that is by and large very liberal, and more to the point, "anti-gun".
They use it to advance their agenda, and seem to want to portray guns as inanimate objects that have a life of their own.
The liberal viewpoint is that ALL human beings are basically "good", and any straying from that course is due to poverty, etc.!
Nothing left to blame the problem on except for guns,.......an "object" THEY hate.
They do not hate fire, or baseball bats.
