Well guys, ive finally got enough dough to get me another bang stick. But now im stuck as to which to get. No handguns, unless its something in nickel and a revolver. Im debating a Romanian PSL, A Used AR, or this other AK which has been Duracoated in a matte Stainless finish.

How accurate is the PSL at 100 yards?

    The PSL's are nice but unless you reload you won't see better than 1.5 to 2" at 100 yards, they were ment as a "close range" rifle and are easley outclassed by a M-21, or even a M-1D for that matter.
    I really hate to say this, but go with the AR, as time goes by you can always upgrade with different uppers and they are very accurate.

    Mk10 thanks for that, i searched for M21 on the Auction Side and came out with mixed results. I saw a .22, .25, and .44 magnum, but nothing comparable to a PSL. What should i search for for m21.

    I have a PSL but have not really got a chance to shoot it. I did get it on paper at 50 yards one cold day and quit there. One thing you will really notice with this gun is that it heats up quick and effects accuracy. I bought mine as a cheep semi accurate shooter. I picked mine up last year when you could still find cheep ammo for it at $0.10/rd shipped. I have enough ammo that I should never run out using it in this gun and my MN's [:D]

    I have several AR's and you can never have too many [:D] As far as AR's go you can start cheep then you can add just about anything you want to them. You can always get a 9mm set up for cheep shooting and they are a ton of fun.

    Here is one of my 9mm AR's. I have a suppress upper coming for this lower and this upper is going on a lower that uses Sten mags.

    I have been on the M1A kick lately but ammo prices on .308 are [xx(] I am lucky I have a bunch from before and tons of reloading supplies on my shelf.

    I have a couple of AK's and SKS's. They are fun guns that are totally reliable. I have thousands of rounds through one of them with out a single failure. When ammo was $60-70/k they were a lot of fun. Now that ammo is more then twice that in price they are not as fun to me.

    After your post Nwcid, ive shyed away from the PSL.

    Any Rifle recommendations?

    My requirements would be,

    Hi Cap,
    Semi Auto,
    No baby calibers!
    And under 800 bucks.
