Will a 16 inch upper look or feel awkward on a fixed stock lower? Im figuring if i tell a dealer or private person im looking for two of the same uppers they will wiggle on the price. Ive got the m4 lower,and the fixed stock lower,i saw a fixed stock ar lower with an 8 inch upper and it looked ridiculous.

    The fixed stock with a 16" upper feels fine to me. I just don't like the look of it.

    thats what i thought, guess im going for the 20 for my fixed, and a 16 for my collapsible

    i got a decent deal on them, 250 a piece. I saw them cheaper but with shipping and transfer fee it would have been about 10 bucks more to buy online.

    It all depends on the handguard length... The full length handguard on short barrel looks nice with full stock.

    I found one i really like, but cant afford it until next week, unless i can find something laying around to sell.


    RRA complete upper, 20" S/S barrel, Armalite gas block, flat topper with Hogue free-float tube and 3 picatinny rails on the tube.
    Includes forward assist, bolt and carrier and charging handle. In excellent condition; 150 rounds since new. $400.00.

    My Armalite 16" came with a fixed stock....Not awkward at all. I shot it for several years in this configuration. I did buy a 4 position stock for it a couple years ago. Mostly for looks.....

    Cousin's is a 16" with a full hand guard and an A2. I like it.

    I need to! When we moved from Delaware to Florida, i trashed stupid stuff i didnt need, now i really have nothing to sell. [}:)]
