OldMagics Fixed me Up

MVP
When OldMagics offered a special Gunbroker Forums price for his custom grips I jumped on it so I could have a set of nice Hand Made Wooden grips for my 1911.
Thanks to OldMagics they are great and I couldn't be happier with them on my pistol, which will now model them[8D][^]

    cat those are indeed from the maple burl that had the bad inclusions, luckily some of the other peices werent as bad as you can see.
    (edit) i am currently filling an order for low profile sub-compact grips from the same wood...here is a pic of the just shaped grips.

    the buyer had originally ordered a design carved in them, but am waiting to be sure they want to mar that great grain before i start cutting.
    not as deep a patern as those mvp got, but very nice and classy

    I am so excited!!! Just looking at the ones MVP has makes me want to get my poor little micro compact re-finished!!! It won't deserve the grips in the shape its in now. I'm leaving it up to you Mr OldMagics....Celtic sounds fun, but you obviously know how to make a nice set of grips with no input from me.

    I say leave those white ones like thay are, either way..

    You wont find another pair exactly like them anyways, and ones NEAR them is slim pickins anyways
