Sub Sonic 22, CB caps

I would be interested in hearing what you guys know about the "quiet" 22 ammo available.
I have always used the 22long cb caps and they are not quiet.
I have heard the Aquila colibri is as quiet as a pellet rifle?
I am looking for something quieter than the CB caps and would appreciate anyones experiences with the quiet 22 ammo.

    The Aquila SS 40gr stuff is what I use and is quieter then other stuff I have used. I have not shot CB's so I can not compare that for you. This stuff is quieter then Remington SS or CCI SS ammo. While none of it is silent, they are quite.

    I have heard the 60gr Aquila SSS (yes 3 S) ammo is very quite you need a faster twist bbl for them to be accurate.

    I do most of my quiet shooting with my suppressor so it is really quite [:p]

    The Aquila colibri that uses a 20 gn bullet and just the primer for propellent has been touted as super quiet but I have not tried it myself.
    Effectiveness on rodents is good if it is within 10' from what I have heard.

    CBs are pretty quiet. I shoot ---s sometimes with them.

    Theres colibri and super colibri's.

    They're about pellet-gun silent out of a rifle. They will get stuck however in longer .22 barrels...I stuck one in my 22/410 over under. My ruger 10/22 feeds them ok and they dont get stuck in the barrel.

    Theyre really fun. For short range practice and rats I guess.

    Not all that quiet out of a handgun but still quiet compared to a regular round.

    I like the Aguila .22-SSS 60gr. Super Sub Sonic
    Not the quietest, but quiet, and hits the taget hard.

    CCI CB Longs will feed nicely in a 10-22 (but will not cycle the action) are quite enough the hammer drop is loud. The CB caps are even quiter but will not fead from the mag.

    The aguila 20 grainers will do fine on just about anything you want to get within 10 yards or so of. I tested it out on a deer skull at 10 yards and got full pass through. It's loudest aspect is the bullet slapping the target.

    The instructions that came with mine said DON'T SHOOT THEM OUT OF A RIFLE BECAUSE THEY MIGHT GET STUCK. Course, you know I am going to try it, so it is nice to hear that my 10/22 won't cause them to get stuck.

    I SHOOT THE AQUILA ALL THE TIME. I SHOT THEM OUT OF A LONG BARREL REMINGTON RIFLE AND HAVE NEVER HAD ONE TO NOT GO ON THRU. THEY ARE QUIETER THAN A DAISY PELLET GUN I HAVE ALSO. THE SUPER AQUILA IS ALSO GOOD.

    I've shot BB caps and CB caps from my winchester rifle never got one stuck.

    Both are very silent you can hear the firing pin hit then hear the bullet strike the target.

    Both are very accurate to 50 feet 100 feet is pushing it.

    They are a good plinking round
