What's Your Favorite Ribs Recipe - Here's Mine
Maple Mustard Ribs
This is a Slow Cooker recipe not a grilling recipe
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 4 or 8 hours (recommend the 8 hours if you have the time)
Ingredients
3 - 4 lbs pork back ribs
2 large onions, sliced and separated
2 envelopes Club House Slow Cooker BBQ Pork Seasoning.
4 cups tomato sauce
1 cup maple syrup
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup spicy brown mustard
1/2 cup lemon juice
Preparation
Remove membrane from underside of rib racks
(start at one corner and peel it off)
Place onions in a 5 qt slow cooker
Cut ribs into serving size pieces and place over onion
Thoroughly combine remaining ingredients & pour over ribs to coat completely
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours
To serve transfer ribs to serving platter
Spoon off fat from top of sauce and pour sauce over ribs.
Serves 4 really hungry people or 6 not so hungry people.

I prefer to cut the ribs into single peices, one bone per slice, then cook them. I feel they will have more flavor as the spices have more contact area and they will cook faster at the same heat.
I also prefer BBQ sauce that is hickory flavored. I would buy the BBQ sauce.
I will try your recipe next time, because I have never worked with the ingrediants from scratch. Thanks for the help.0 -

I just put some Cajun spice on them and cut up a onion and some cayenne peppers then pour a little rum on top. Cook them till done on the grill with indirect heat. Don0 -
I also use Maple Syrup.
Buy any BBQ sauce add maple syrup cook slow in oven
Serve with the cooked down sauce spread over the ribs.
Cook till done and the sauce is thick but not burned.0
