Sorry, but you don't exist before age 25 ....
To the adult world, you do not exist before age 25.
Before then, you're treated as "boy", "shut up, kid" and will be asked embarrassing personal questions ("Do you have a girlfriend yet?").
After 25, those things stop. Adults finally listen to you!
Why?
Money.
To the world, people 25 and over now have some money, therefore you begin to exist.
(I suppose that by subtracting that 25 years .... I'm only 37! So, why don't I feel 37!?)

I work with some younger guys and I sometimes wonder how they haven't lopped off all thier fingers by now. I think by the time you are almost 30 you are actually TRYING to have something....not trying to impress the little crowd. Trying to hold a conversation with a younger person is hard at times.....about 9 out of 10 seem to annoy the heck out of me (and I know that I am impossible to impress these days so I try not to let them down.)
The guys I work with bring the buddies around and its sometimes funny to see the world of a 21 to 25 year old again.....0 -

25 is the cutoff date for foolishness also. At age 25 you have to set the tome for the rest of your life. By age 25, a man who doesn't have a course charted will forever drift through life. If your kid is still living at home by age 25, he/she will never amount to anything. [xx(] 0 -
It didn't matter what age you were in my home town. Anyone who was 15 years older than you would tell you to shut up and call you a kid. And, if you argued or talked back, you were a disrespectful kid.

Somewhere around 25 or 30, most people begin to realize that life can be unfair, that there are others out there worse off than you (so quit your whining), that the world does not revolve around them, and no one is going to give you squat for just existing as the wonderful perfect creature that you are, and you are probably least fit to judge others, due to your experiences (or lack thereof).
Some mature quicker, some later, some never, but this seems to be the mean age.0 -

Or if they come back at the age of 30. That only proves they are not willing or too lazy to stand on their own and don't have enough pride or charactor to man up.

And the ones than never mature are the weak links in society and should be eliminated.
The hardest time to live is from 18 to 25, because everyone expects you to shoulder the responsibility of the adult world without showing you the respect or leniency that someone over 25 would normally get.0 -

Don't know about you P3, But I had to have that stuff figured out by age 17.0 -
I am 20, Own my own house, Own my own car, Own several guns and a few good classic cars, And work a full time job of Selling/ Fixing appliances for a living.
I have more knowledge in my field of work than some people in the area that claim to have been doing it longer than i have lived( Look at thier work verses mine and you'd see who knows what there doing[;)])
I respect all people and except the same in return from them!
The only reason i've done this well this early in my life is because i made a few smart decisions as a teenager( Something that most people think a teenager is incapable of doing and looking at most of my friends... I would agree[:D]), Because i actualy grew up in a rather poor family[V]
The only thing i have left to do for the moment is find me a good women to settle down with... I've had a few fun ones that i had fun times with[8D], But now i am looking to settle down and live my life.
Now!..... Am i still a boy to you.... Because most people around here consider me a man[^]0 -

I was where your at in the same age. Good for you! I am 45 now and only have progressed. But I got to tell ya, when Parents beat it in your head the right way you will succeed in life!0 -
Well i must say its true. That 18 yr old man can pick up his rifle and bang with enemy for 22 hrs at a time but cant get a break when he comes home......bullllchit to me 0
