Quick question about bore solvents
Now that I'm shooting my .38 snubby more, I find myself more concerned about lead fouling than I was previously.
I pretty much use "break-free" CLP exclusively on my guns....should I be using a copper or lead solvent to clean the barrels?

I use CR-10 on my rifle barrels when they get copper fouled. It says it is good for lead, too. It has to be used in a WELL ventilated area though. 0 -
Breakfree CLP is a fine lubricant but it is not a bore solvent. Try Butch's Bore Shine, Blue Magic, or if you are patient, one of the foam cleaners you leave in overnight. 0 -
