Why it's hard to buy Gov junk now

GAO found that DOD was selling stuff it wasn't supposed to sell. Now it's almost impossible to get a "EUC" (End User Certificate) approved to pick up stuff you win on www.govliquidation.com


They want me to scan and email them a copy of my drivers license, won't accept faxed versions.

Any moron could get a stolen drivers license and photoshop his picture into a Jpeg'd drivers license.....then send it to the .GOV.

I'm thinking about putting Osama's picture on my drivers license and emailing it to them. We've had a month long email battle on technical corrections to the form.....initial here....capitalize that....don't use 'not applicable' there....use the word 'personal'....it's getting silly.

Every 3 days they changed what they want in the blocks on the form.

    Read that. They want people peed off and protesting to GAO since they screwed up by selling what they weren't supposed to.

    They want everyone to not get what they bought and whining.

    Now that's the Govt. for ya!

    I can't seem to find the surplus ammunition for sale section at their site.

    Actually, I have heard that take down ammo can not be sold for reloading and buyer must sign a contract that it will not be.

    True or false?
