Benchmade Knife
Hello,
I have been watching a benchmade knife on ebay and I was offered a second chance bid since the winner did not pay. Is the knife worth $50 to $60? From what I can tell it is a Stryker. Thanks for any help.

^Agreed^ I would pay $60 tops for that knife. I used to own a Benchmade Mel-Pardue switch blade. It was the best knife I have ever owned. I have no clue what happened to that thing and would like to find it!! I paid a little over $200 for it. But staying on topic, yes that is a nice knife and if ya want it, buy it!! 0 -
I have an automatic, I was given to me while I was still on active duty. I love it 0 -
I'd say you got it for half price. I have 2 Benchmades and they are the bestin my inventory, I can always count on them. Great buy!

Oh and if it is the D2 steel it will last a lifetime, the only thing is once it gets dull (takes a while) it is a beast to sharpen. Enjoy.0 -

That's a possible, but many times "second chance offers" are
bogus.

I'd pay 60 bucks for it. If I recall Emerson made these before he went alone on his own. Also didn't they discontinue these not too long ago? Personally I like the Emerson's Commander with the plain edge. They're kind a big, but for what it's made for (and there is only one reason it's made for) I suppose pocket carry wasn't it[:D].
I have a Benchmade Mel Pardue Auto Series 3200 nice knife. Handle could be a might thinner (used to carrying the Spyderco Solo so I'm spoild like that[:D]).0 -

No need to worry about dullness, Benchmade has their LifeSharp program. When you think its dull pay postage and they'll put the factory edge back on it.0 -

I own three and they are my favorite knives. I carry an auto everyday unless I am out of state then I carry one of my others. Their lifesharp policy is great and the turn around is fast. You do have to be careful about sending autos back if you live outside of Oregon. Great customer service as well. I usually deal with Nancy at (503) 655-6004 ext. 166.
Well worth the price by the way.0
