Need Some Colt "Frontier" Help

OK, some of you knowledgible Colt people, Evidentally Colt made different models of the "Frontier" than the "Frontier Scout"? Like the "New Frontier" maybe? The reason I'm asking is because I recently bought a pair of grips on the GB auction for my .22 Cal. Frontier Scout and the grips that were sent were made for a larger gun, they were not even a close fit for my pistol. Could I get a little info from yous' about this? Luckily the man that sold them to me will refund my money.

    I don't suppose someone would happen to have a pair of walnut or imitatation stag grips they would want to part with for this gun?

    The Frontier Scout 22 (in various configurations), as well as the New Frontier 22 and the Peacemaker 22 share the same size grips.
    The New Frontier (45Colt, 44SPL, etc) shares grips with the Single Action Army which, of course, are much larger than the 22s.

    Jay Scott imitation stag grips come up regularly on GunBroker and other auction sites.
