Anyone here ever ship OLD ammo?

I will be shipping this auction - Link Below - as an individual not an FFL business. What all do I need? Ship only UPS with ORM-D? USPS says they can't handle this item. Tell me what to expect please. I have been slowly getting away from ebay so I have listed all kinds of items on Gunbroker now. More to come too.

    Use United Parcel at a Terminal or Depot. The UPS Store will not take them.

    Is there a higher rate for ORM-D? Can UPS carrier pick it up from my office if we have an account? Dang it - I knew it was gonna be trouble shipping this STUFF.

    ORM-D is the same "danger" class as spray paint, no extra charges apply. There is a difference in the wording (fine print), as has been noted, this is simply to notify the carrier of the type of contents (ammo vs arasol, vs etc).
    You want the "ORM-D Small Arms Ammunation" one.

    The Post Office (USPS) classes ammo the same as dynamite and hand grenades, so shipping LIVE ammo via the PO is a no-no. Shipping Inert or Dummy ammo via the Post Office IS alloowed
