    one would hope these people never take these rifles hunting dangerous game such as elephant or cape buffalo...or if they do they better make sure they have an expirienced guide with them...if not they will most likely be squished.

    If youve seen any video of profesional hunter that use such magnum caliber guns you will notice that they generally lean heavily into the guns. They do that for a reason. Most of the shooters show shot from a straight or slightly leaning back position making it difficult to have any control of the recoil. I'm not saying I could do any better but I wouldn't want to shoot that gun off the bench or in a stancen that could easily cause me to be pushed off balance.

    The 577 T-Rex shows its head around here once a year or so. Here are the guys who made it. Great site. If you join their forums, there are TONS of videos of unsuspecting guys shooting this beast.

    If you look at the cartridge, and have enough gray matter to walk and chew gum at the same time, you either lean into it, or you decline the privilege.

    If you try to shoot it like a .22, you're gonna get punished.

    For those that don't know what a 577 T-Rex round looks like, it's the one in the middle (that's one of Hubel458's "12ga From Hell" rounds on the right).

    There are 600 and 700 Nitro Express rounds in that photo, the "little guy" front row right is a 500 S&W.
