Prayer for George W. Bush

Bush is my shepherd, I shall not want.
he maketh me lie on park benches,
he leadeth me beside still factories,
he restoreth my doubts in the Republican Party.
He guided me to the path of unemployment for his party's sake.
Yea, though I walk in the valley of the soup kitchen,
I am still hungry.
I do not fear evil for thou art against me.
Thou anointed my income with taxes, so that my expenses runneth over my income.
Surely poverty and hard living shall follow the Republican Party
and I shall live in a rented house forever.

Five thousand years ago Moses said: "Park your camel, pick up your
shovel, mount your ass and I shall lead you to the promised land."
Five thousand years later, Franklin D. Roosevelt said: "Lay down your
shovel, sit on your ass, light up a camel, this is the promised land."
Today Bush will tax your shovel, sell your camel, kick you in the ass
and tell you there is no promised land.

I am glad that I am an American, I am glad that I am free.
But I do wish that I was a little dog, and Bush was a tree

    As a conservative, I'm no fan of Bush. He's done some stuff I like and a lot I dislike. My own views skew along the libertarian/constitutionalist line.

    Bottom line he's stayed tough on the war on terror and of that I wholeheartedly approve- so while he might mess some things up given that I see that as THE key issue of the times, I lean slightly towards approval of him.

    My prayers go out to ALL our elected leaders- that they serve us well (even though most don't.)

    It is Bush's disastrous mistakes on the "war on terror" that are appalling to me.
    This Iraq invasion is the biggest mistake in the history of our country.

    people can say what they want, but they are builting more homes
    builting more stores, If you want a job around here, you can
    find one. in case your wondering what part of the country
    were in northeast florida.

    There aren`t any jobs in Michigan.They`ve all been sent to Mexico and China.The housing market is in the toilet too.

    The "entitled" mentality of Michigan workers sent those jobs to China and Mexico. The Michigan "entitled" labor force doesn't understand you have to WORK to stay competitive.....there is no such thing as a free lunch. Beach

    My prayer would be that Bush lives until the next election. Otherwise, Cheney will be our Fascist leader and likely "postpone" elections until the details of the corporate takeover of America is complete in name as well as in fact. Meanwhile, let's just keep blaming Clinton for the stupidity of the electorate who voted these idiotic thugs into office TWICE.

    I say put Bush in another four years. He put us in most of this mess and let him try and get us out instead of passing it on. When he went in he had it a lot better than what he is leaving. Anybody that says otherwise needs to get their head out of the sand.
