First thing let me tell you that I'm a first generation San Francisco
native, My wife is sixth generation! I hear you guys gay bashing and saying Kalifornia and such! But to tell you the truth 60% of the gay population have come from other states to escape the bigotry and redneck attitude. About the laws being past like 10 round mags and such...well that's our fault( gun owners) not getting out there to vote. The people who are voting are the people who moved here from other states to get away from the crime and such of there state.
Don't get me wrong we have our own share of crap but to point a finger at Ca for all your problems is stupid, its your fault for not keeping your people from moving here!

I lived in California for 11 years, no carpet bagger I, I had family that moved there during the Gold Rush and ranched up in Susanville. Me? I was an LEO for the People's Republic of California. I used to here so called natives (definition: they were born there but not their parents) blame everything bad on New Yorkers. I tried to tell them over and over that I was from Maryland but those folks on the Left Coast aren't so good with geography. Anyway, the "natives" are the ones that pass all the goofy socialist laws in that state. New immigrants buy into as well. I found the Bay area to be the most leftwing, snobbish, arrogant, New Age loon, sissy-boy place I have ever visited. As far as "rednecks" driving homosexuals out of their own states to resettle them in Frisco, I didn't know that this is what attracted them to "Halloween-by-Bay" in the first place. I was glad to escape to free America.
