Just went out on a scouting mission for my upcoming turkey season. I live by Lake Shelbyville in Central Il. I pulled up to one parking spot by the Okaw River. I spotted a adult Bald Eagle. It flew from the river bank and up into a tree. That is when I also saw a juvenile. I have seen them here before but it has been quite a few years and also during duck season. I also saw some of those dang big white pelicans.

    Great shot!
We have Eagles living nearby in the wildlife refuge, but to get shots like that are hard to come by. Thanks for sharing.

    Sling,

This was taken by a professional photog. He just happened to be in the right place at the right time and also happened to have his "John Holmes" lens on.[:0][;)][:D]
