Does anyone carry concealed in a shoulder holster?

    Well I ordered one I really wanted back in Feb. After Numerous e-mails and even phone calls with no contact from seller I did a charge back on my card and got my money back.


    Well just this morning I got an e-mail with a date its been shiped and a USPS number. Its set for delivery later this week.


    So what would you do.



    I even followed his instructions to cancel the Order, by sending a letter via snail mail, I even sent it delivery confirmation.

    He got it.

    Gonna ask for a shoulder holster for christmas. It will be for a Glock 23 probably go with a horizontal rig. Need recommendations for one around $150. Question some shoulder holsters have mag pouches/holders on the opposite side, is that a accessory or included in the holster. Looking at the Galco Miami Classic.

    I'm going to purchase a vertical shoulder holster.

    What works and what sucks? Leather? Nylon?

    Looking at buying a new should holster pretty soon, what is the best make. I have been looking at Galco's. I want to be able to change out the holster for differant guns. Any other suggestions

    I like leather better.Heavier but sturdy and stays where I put it.(doesnt ride around and move as much)

    Leather seems to get better in time...I can say the opposite about nylon.

    Haven't seen anything like that, pretty much one or the other so far. I'm still in research mode, but leaning toward Bianchi leather.

    Ive got one of each and I dont like eather, I do plan on another that will hold the gun upside down in a fitted holster made for the gun.

    Leather with a double mag pouch on the right side. Jackass leather..(Galco, nowadays) You will forget it is there...and with practice, very fast.

    You will regret the synthetics. Will rub you raw, and never form fit...ever.

    had a Galco leather shoulder rig with holster on one side and double mag pouch on the other side. The thing was awesome. Sold the gun so I ended up selling the holster too.

    Go with Leather...
    I have Galco and Kirkpatrick shoulder holsters.
    Both are excellent.

    LOL he bought that thing for $25 bucks at "an iraqi bazaar"

    Maybe I should start up a side business over here........

    BTW, I use a Blackhawk nylon shoulder holster with a double mag pouch on the opposite side. It's ambidexterous. I wear it when I'm not out on mission. I have a Blackhawk Plastic holster that fits on the chest of my IBA when I'm outside the wire.
