Got one of those awful phone calls tonight.

Doc
A close friend whom I have known since 1968 lost his wife of 30 years to cancer on 12/30. Sort of puts all this other nonsense into perspective, no?

    *sigh* Our square dance club lost one of our most faithful couples. The lady had a stroke last month and died Friday. The funeral is Tuesday. It seems unlikely that the gentleman will attend dances alone....

    You are quite correct, Saxon, mortality does put the BS into perspective.

    I must be almost as old as Clouder. All too frequent. So sorry for you loss, we will keep you and your friend in our thoughts. Yep it puts political posts and religious arguments in perspective.
