Thinking of selling my Kimber

I just bought a Sig 220Rs and I find that I like it better than the venerable 1911, I know sacrilage and blasphemy I know, I never thought I would think that. I find the Sig much more accurate for me. I haveonly put about 200 rds through this Kimber Pro Carry 2 so it is still like new. I think $650 is a fair price. What do you think? (here it comes)

    There's no shame in it, Sig makes a damn good pistol.

    I don't think you have to sell one to own the other. Why not just keep the kimber in the safe?

    You can't go wrong with a SIG, I carry the 220, I like it (trust it) that much. Like Dave W. said, why not keep the Kimber too.

    I just sold my Kimber Ultra Carry II, jam-o-matic. Bought a Springfield 1911 to take its place. Kimber is not what they used to be in my opinion. So, if you can get something you think is more reliable, do it.

    I would have advised you to try a Wilson Combat mag in the gun before selling it. What did you replace your Kimber with?

    I agree with the idea of keeping the Kimber. Its a fine pistol and you may enjoy the varity of shooting both down the road.

    The Sigs are very accurate and easy to take down but the 1911s are classics and just nice to have around when you really need one.[;)]

    Put it in the safe and think about it for a while.

    If the Sig is better for you, then it's a better gun... for you. $650 seems to be a very fair price. I've been looking through the Kimber line for the last month thinking about my first Kimber purchase. Do some comparisons with the MSRP on the Kimber site, GB, {elsewhere} and any other exchange sight just to get an idea of what the going rate is.
