Ever since I saw the cowboy movie with Sharon Stone, and boy/man from "titanic", can't remember his name, boy/man pulled the old revolver out of the gun case and it had the silver grips, I have always wanted one, and I always thought my nickel plated 380 would look really cool with either silver or pewter grips. Just like I would like to get a colt python with a 4 inch barrel after seeing one in a dirty harry movie. 0 -

I just phone Ajax ...the pewter grips are made by another company and Ajax sells them...They no longer carry the grips for the Colt Government 380 ..only the 1911, 1911A1, and the Ruger Vaq...

I would consider silver if the price was not to high? The grips would look very nice with the nickel finish, don't you think? 0 -
Truthfully?....no they wouldnt....We have a 1908 380, nickel finish, with pearl grips..(yes it was made that way) and it looks like a pimp gun all over the place....Now black pearlite or ebony grips, or even dark stag would look nice but nickel with silver or pewter?....pimpish....

YOu should have known by now that I dont like nickel guns or anything resembling nickel...
The 1908 we have (yes its a great gun, almost 100 years old, but its nickel) I just dont care for and you know I love Colt...Even if a 1911 or 1911A1 were to come along in nickel, truthfully it could stay right where it was...but that is just me...Every one is different and if you like nickel with silver grips or purple grips, or pink with green stiped grips...so be it....[:)][:)].
Pimp or pimpish was the only word that seemed to fit....*LOL0 -
I did see a pair of Zuni handmade Silver and turquoise and ebony(?) grips that were killer once that I loved...

The turquoise and ebony silver grips would look okay on a nickel gun but I would kill for some on a blued gun...ohhhhh would they look great... 0 -
