Nebraska Centennial Winchester Model 94

I am trying to find a NIB numbers matching the box, Nebraska Centennial Winchester Model 94 at a reasonable price and not an inflated $1,400 or something like that. I have a perfect rating and would appreciate any help in locating one that I can purchase. Thanks!!!!

    I have a Nebraska Centennial Winchester Model 94 Serial # NC1574 New in Original Box. The Story . . . Originally the owner purchased several such Winchesters and sold them through his hardware/sportings store in a small Northease Nebraska Town. Every time he purchased more he would lay them out and retain the one with the stock that, in his opinion, most caught his fancy. Unless I have overlooked something, this is the only one that I have. I do have a box, or possibly two, without the firearm.
    I do not know what it is worth. I just Googled the specific firearm to assistm me in determinging the value, and I ran across your ad.
    Also have:

    Tom Osborne - Universiry of Nebraska - Winchester 45 Colt - Special Edition, Victory 96 of 255 which was the Orange Bowl Game fo 1983 - Nebraska 21 Louisiana State 20: Model 94E CAL. 45 Colt - Serial # 6319996; New in Original Box, Never fired, Seal still in place. Including Belt Buckle.

    Millennium 2000 Nebraska Special Edition, #9 or 10, CAL. 45 LC.,Serial #79841, New in Original Box, Never fired, Seal still in place, Belt Buckle included.

    Winchester Centennial '66, A Century of Leadership 1866-1966,30-30,Serial #69102, "Engraved "Steve O. Becher" "A Winchester Man", New in box, Never Fired, Includes the cardboard sleeve.

    I also have a couple of John Waynes, New in Box, Never Fired.

    I have at least one Nebraska Centennial Box and perhaps another sleeve for the Winchester Centennial. I would have to do some digging.

    I am interested in the the market value of these firearms and if you have a particular interest in any or all.

    There are so many special edition Winchesters out there that I'm begining to think the plain jane Winchesters are the true special editions.

    I'm not a Winchester price expert, so take my advice at that.
    If I had those rifles and I wanted to sell them I would ask 500 to 700 for each of them but the John Waynes. Those I would ask 1300 to 1500.

    Start a Gunbroker acount and sell them here. No better place on the internet to sell your guns.

    Nebraska Centennial; Model 94; .30-.30 Caliber; New in Box; Serial No. NC15XX; Serial Number on Box is Identical (Original Box); Beautiful Wood. The best I can find, $1,350 is a reasonable price. Let me know if you have an interest.

    I believe it is a 94 winchester that was made in 1966 to comemorate 100 years of leadership. I only say that because the 1866's never came in a 30-30.

    OK, thanks. They made both rifles and carbines. I sent you an e-mail for pics of the "engraving".

    I just noticed you said "inscription". Sorry, I thought it was engraved but I guess it was "personalized". I'd still like to see it - maybe it's removable. Thanks again.

    I just saw your post. $1,350. The original owner (I am his son) was in the business. He bought and sold several of these back in the late 60's. He always saved one back. Each time he would acquire more for sale, he would lay them all out on the counter and select the one with the best wood for retention. I only have one. This one is nice.

    The box bears the same serial number as the centennial.

    Since winchester went out of business good luck on finding one reasonably priced. Have plenty of comm. but none are for sale due to the collection, wife wishes different. hehe
