What is it ??? more pics
Picked it up in several boxes of reloading stuff and have no idea what it is. The owner is no longer with us and nobody seems to know what it is. Might not even be for reloading, but someone has to know. Thanks for the help.

The bottom cover just pops off and it has little rubber feet..???

In 35 years I have not seen anything on a loading bench that looked like that.
My thoughts were of some stress / strain Gage ?
Some Impression tester ? So I went down the hall.
We have a good bit of "Fisher" gear in the lab, but we don't do any fancy, high powered chemistry.
The lab techs agree....it is a Desktop model of a Black Button Moovsa Screwontop device.

It's a Fisher Thumb Screw. You put your thumb in that opening and have your significant other turn the screw until you confess to him/her how much you really paid for that last firearm that suddenly appeared in your gun safe. My wife has two of them; one for my thumbs, one for my big toes. No secrets in this old boy's house. 0 -

It is obviously a hold'em thing. Remove that darker grey rectangle between Fisher and USA. Take unit out of it's holding tray. Look underneith and tell us what you see. Yes, very Good photos. 0 -
How big is it? I am leaning towards a "corking" device.
(Place a test tube or small beaker under the two fingers, adjust the thumb screw for stopper seating depth, then push the button to seat the stopper or cork).
I do not believe it is related to any reloading equipment that I have ever seen.0 -

I agree that it must be a corking device of some kind. The chemical corrosion on the holding fingers and in the "catch basin" show that. The shape of the containers being corked is unusual and also rather small. There may be another container-specific part is missing, something to position a specific container centered in the little catch basin. I Googled "Fisher inserter, capper, sealer, corker, etc, etc," to no avail.

There used to be, and maybe still is, a large scientific supply house that was (is) called Fisher Scientific . It would be interesting to see if they have an on line catalogue. 0 -
