7.62x56???
some guy in my state put an ad that he has 720rds of 7.62x56 for $75. Anyone heard of this round? I'm thinking maybe he meant 7.62x54.

720 rounds is the amount in some Chinese spam cans of 7.62x39 in which case that's not just a good price, it's a heck of a good price.

In his ad he also states he would trade this in order to get some 7.62x39. So now I am really confused as to what he has. Or maybe he just has no idea. Waiting to hear back from the guy now. 0 -
My guess is that he is actualy selling 7.62x54... Which fits in the russian M44 and 91/30 rifles.

Neither have i, But it doesn't say that he has 720 in a can....It just says that he has 720 rounds for sale.0 -
ends up that it is $75 for a 720rd tin of 7.62x56 (303 British). I have no need for it but it seems like a good price from what I could find. 0 -
