West Virginia-Ohio conceal permit

is the WV ccp good for Ohio? i think i saw something in the paper last year that an agreement was made. anyone? anyone?

    As of last year, it was not. I'm not sure about now. I have a WV CCW Permit.

    thanks SLMichigan.i'm fixing to head to Ohio pretty soon. i understand their laws are a little tighter than WV. there ain't many restrictions where you can carry here except schools,courthouses and if a no carry sign is up all they can do is ask you to leave.(if they see it[;)]) very few no carry signs though.

    this site has a book that tells you the laws of every state and which ones your states license is good for. It's nice to have...I keep one in my glove box. $10.

    no prob, up here in michigan things are really tight, no schools, churches, hospitals, colleges, arenas over 2500 seating... it goes on. in addition to the "no guns" signs. the no gun signs are few and far between here also. i go to ohio all the time and from what i know, their laws aren't any more restrictive than michigan's.

    10 bucks seems kind of steep for a book of regulations that probably changes a couple times a month. i monitor my state police website for changes and research other states ahead of time before i travel.
