Saiga .223

I see that Centerfire Systems has the Saiga .223 for $225. I've been thinking that maybe I need one. I have a Fuzzy Bunny Saiga .308 which is a great rifle. Anyone know if the .223 is also accurate and dependable? What about availability for high cap mags? It only comes with a 10 round.

    Was thinking of buying a Saiga .223 rem, any good or bad stories. I already have a SKS but want to plink away with the .223.
    auction prices are from 230 to 340, are there different variation for that spread of price.

    They are a great rifle for the money.
    The price you see has been the same for about 4 years while the mini 14 has rose about 35% in price.
    I would take the Saiga over the mini 14 any day dollar for dollar.
    I don't know what the supply of magazines are now but they used to be about 40.00 a piece for extras.

    I have a Saiga in .223. It's a good rifle. Pro-Mag is now making magazines specifically for the Saiga. They are very reasonably priced around $15. There is a whole 'nother board and forums devoted to the assorted Saigas. Drop me a note if you would like the address.

    I got a pump one. Guess the family loves it....they told me they tore up the Pennsylvania woods with it during deer season and everyone thought a war broke out.
