ODOT said the driver was transported to the hospital, but officials said he seems to be okay.

Like was the Plane on the runway, did the airfield even know they had a plane inbound.
Hell even back in the 70's if you were in a vehicle on the runway you had to have radio contact with the tower, to cross the runway you had to ask permission.

Some of DuBeau's daily duties included inspecting the airfield for any discrepancies, creating and disseminating deployment schedules, status reports on on-going airfield construction projects, and releasing flight plans received from pilots.
The incident is currently under investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB).0 -

This is in a 35mph zone. Lights each direction half a block On a curve. The direction and side of the road it is on heavy traffic and its a 25mph zone less than a half block. So with the damage how did they get it going fast enough to do that damage. 0 -
