AMMO ID HELP

just pickeup 250 rounds of 30-06 ammo,head stamp is FA 52.bullet has a black tip,someone thought it might be armour piercing,bullet also has a canalure about 1/8 inch above case neck.anybody on here got any ideas? thanks
