    bobski, I found this site Here, which is very interesting. It shows and identifies a lot of hood ornaments, but none like yours. However, there is this guys email address on the front page of this site, and maybe he can help you identify what you have.

    Also want to add, that it looks like the nose piece on the hood of a International Harvester KB5 around 1947.
