They aren't even home yet, and . . .
Sandy and Josh were in Roanoke, VA last night, and won't be back for another couple of days, yet I already have my present from their trip.
Got a call today from my credit card company asking if I was trying to purchase or had authorized a purchase of an HDTV in New York City. I told them no, that my son and wife were using my credit card while on vacation there, but they had already left the city and were in Roanoke last night.
That is what set off alarm bells to them. They received a hotel charge in Roanoke and the TV charge in New York at the same time.
The card is canceled and they are emailing me a list of charges to approve. I called Josh on the cell phone and told him to use his own credit card for the rest of the trip and I would reimburse him when he got here. Meanwhile, I will review and reject any false charges as soon as I get the email. Josh said they only charged the hotel and food on the card, and the helicopter tour. No purchases for merchandise were made.

that sucks, happened to me a couple years ago, real pain in the butt. 0 -
happen to me last aug. a 600$ hotel bill when I wasent evan in country got it fixed and a new c card. 0 -
