yes...from what i have heard from americans here and what i have been reading it is as if america is waiting for someone to step up who has the courage to stare down the politicaly correct and anti everything brigade there..someone who has the courage to say what the silent majority feel and think...i wonder who it will be? i wonder when it will happen?? maybe thats more to the point. 0 -
Dan we are looking for that guy. But it starts in congress as well. We have some senators who have been sitting there for too many years, they make too much money to be swayed by anything. Lobbying should be illegal. 0 -
yeah suburban...thats the trouble everywhere now...they make too much money, not just their base salary...it the "extras" that go with the job...perks that the average citizen can only dream of. the politicians here have a saying that you get the politicians that you are prepared to pay for!...we are being ripped off big time...once they get their snout into the trough they dont like being removed from it...the sad thing is that here as in america there are good decent people who would really make a difference if they were elected, but the "system" shuts them down.i will guarantee you if someone there does stand up to be counted the republicans and the democrats will team up together to cut them off at the knees, the system is too entrenched now...and im not knocking the american system!..its the same here. 0
