I don't think it was your intention to come accross as you did with your e-mail to me. But it does have a ring of being spam and many of our forum members would take it as that. And if forwarded to one of the moderators might possibly get your accout locked. I don't want to do that as you are new with only 100 posts.
I am sorry to embaress you like this on an open forum, I wanted to let you know about this but also did not want to take a risk that it may be spam and give up my e-mail address by replying.
I hope you understand.

Life's busy. I don't have as much time to post these days as I usually do. 0 -
Are you going to scope the AR you have now or the 20"? Are you looking for a compact scope or a normal sized one? Do not buy one yet. 0 -

1911, thank you for that recipe, i didnt know you had such experience with cooking. Next time we make steaks, im definately using that recipe! Thanks again.
no problem, you'll love it, like i said you can cut it with a butter knife, if you use a fillet mignon {pizmo} or a rib-eye you can cut it with just the fork, but it's hard to tell the chefs here anything
let me know how it works out for you, it's almost full proof, even if you don't get it right the first time you will know what you did wrong with the mix0 -
Here is the statute that states the exemptions on waiting periods..;
790.33 Field of regulation of firearms and ammunition preempted.--
(1) PREEMPTION.--Except as expressly provided by general law, the Legislature hereby declares that it is occupying the whole field of regulation of firearms and ammunition, including the purchase, sale, transfer, taxation, manufacture, ownership, possession, and transportation thereof, to the exclusion of all existing and future county, city, town, or municipal ordinances or regulations relating thereto. Any such existing ordinances are hereby declared null and void. This subsection shall not affect zoning ordinances which encompass firearms businesses along with other businesses. Zoning ordinances which are designed for the purpose of restricting or prohibiting the sale, purchase, transfer, or manufacture of firearms or ammunition as a method of regulating firearms or ammunition are in conflict with this subsection and are prohibited.
(2) LIMITED EXCEPTION; COUNTY WAITING-PERIOD ORDINANCES.--
(a) Any county may have the option to adopt a waiting-period ordinance requiring a waiting period of up to, but not to exceed, 3 working days between the purchase and delivery of a handgun. For purposes of this subsection, "purchase" means payment of deposit, payment in full, or notification of intent to purchase. Adoption of a waiting-period ordinance, by any county, shall require a majority vote of the county commission on votes on waiting-period ordinances. This exception is limited solely to individual counties and is limited to the provisions and restrictions contained in this subsection.
(b) Ordinances authorized by this subsection shall apply to all sales of handguns to individuals by a retail establishment except those sales to individuals exempted in this subsection. For purposes of this subsection, "retail establishment" means a gun shop, sporting goods store, pawn shop, hardware store, department store, discount store, bait or tackle shop, or any other store or shop that offers handguns for walk-in retail sale but does not include gun collectors shows or exhibits, or gun shows.
(c) Ordinances authorized by this subsection shall not require any reporting or notification to any source outside the retail establishment, but records of handgun sales must be available for inspection, during normal business hours, by any law enforcement agency as defined in s. 934.02.
(d) The following shall be exempt from any waiting period:
1. Individuals who are licensed to carry concealed firearms under the provisions of s. 790.06 or who are licensed to carry concealed firearms under any other provision of state law and who show a valid license;
2. Individuals who already lawfully own another firearm and who show a sales receipt for another firearm; who are known to own another firearm through a prior purchase from the retail establishment; or who have another firearm for trade-in;
3. A law enforcement or correctional officer as defined in s. 943.10;
4. A law enforcement agency as defined in s. 934.02;
5. Sales or transactions between dealers or between distributors or between dealers and distributors who have current federal firearms licenses; or
6. Any individual who has been threatened or whose family has been threatened with death or bodily injury, provided the individual may lawfully possess a firearm and provided such threat has been duly reported to local law enforcement.
(3) POLICY AND INTENT.--
(a) It is the intent of this section to provide uniform firearms laws in the state; to declare all ordinances and regulations null and void which have been enacted by any jurisdictions other than state and federal, which regulate firearms, ammunition, or components thereof; to prohibit the enactment of any future ordinances or regulations relating to firearms, ammunition, or components thereof unless specifically authorized by this section or general law; and to require local jurisdictions to enforce state firearms laws.
(b) As created by chapter 87-23, Laws of Florida, this section shall be known and may be cited as the "Joe Carlucci Uniform Firearms Act."0 -

I just remembered that you're into imports. Interested in a 72 240z? My dad paid a guy to turn it into a hot rod and he butchered it, closed shop, and left. Long story short, after a lot of time, and a law suit, my dad is waiting to get his money back and has a car that doesn't run. Supposedly, the Chevy 350 in it was new when he put it in, but who knows. It has to be completely redone but the body is all there along with all the glass except for the windshield.
I don't know if you're into the older imports or just the newer ones. And this one would be a major project. Let me know.0 -

I'm planing on going with Eibachs on KYBs. That's the most cost effective performance suspension for the Taurus, only around $500. There are Konis that can be made to work and Eibach makes a coil over kit, but that combo costs over a grand. 0 -
In order not to highjack someone elses thread, I just wanted to point out that's you have one cool azz ak signature video.[;)][^][:)] 0 -
You have mail. 0 -
When's that M-16 of yours going to need a mag change? Or is it one of those super-special Hollywood M-16s that never needs to be reloaded?[:D] 0 -
Classic im Printing this out and im going to show it to my guys at kastel keep and see if theylle let me skip the waiting period.
You wouldnt happen to know if kastle keep is open on sunday?0 -
O.K. Here's the real skinny on the waiting periods. What is quoted
is State and Federal laws. Each separate County can mandate their own requirements on this.
Hillsborough and Pinellas REQUIRE a 3 day wait on all handguns and long guns.
Pasco County requires a 3 day wait on handguns only. There is no waiting period for long guns.0 -

the state authority wins. example; the feds say you need to pay ATF stamp taxs to buy auto weapons or suppressors legaly BUT if the state says they are not allowed in that state then they are a no go even with the tax stamp. another; federal law has nothing (since the AWB sunset) on high capacity mags, but several states still outlaw them.
state laws supercedes feds, but in most cases it is more draconian than the feds.0 -
So if Fed law says there is a way to not wait the three, but the state over rides that,
Fed law says marjuana is illegal, why cant CA state law superceed that?
Not being a dick or argumentative just trying to get better understanding. Thanks Dave0 -

Denver made marijuana legal, but it is still illegal in the state laws, and federal law.
Not sure about the legality of it, but they say something about.....

Something to do with "vacancy" (I'm not sure if the phrase is correct). When the AWB started, NY put word for word into their own books. Other states did not. Feds vacated the law (ban). The only way out is if the Feds place into play a new ordnance to override the state law(s). That won't happen. There's some passage in the Constitution regarding the Fed's not interfering with the individual states' own lawmaking. I forgot the reference, if someone else can chime-in with it.
Bottom line, RTKBA is a nationwide [read: Federal] right. The fed's don't want to get involved with the individual states implementation details. (Waiting periods, for example). Ever notice the most "gun friendly" states use nothing more than Federal firearms law? That's because they haven't enacted restrictions on a state level. If each state implemented, word for word, the US 2nd Amendment into their own states constitution exclusively, it would be a whole different matter. NRA/GOA, et. al. probably wouldn't be needed at all. Joe0 -

thats a great question; the state can legalize it, maine has done the same thing, which means the state will not go after those offences BUT if for some reason the feds decide they do want to bring you to court they can. Typically though the feds only get brought into cases being made by the state or if you are so big you have gotten the feds attention on your own.
Its pretty fuqt up actually.. [B)]0
