A former worker at Heathrow airport who called herself the lyrical terrorist has become the first woman in the country to be convicted under new terrorism laws. Twenty-three-year-old Samina Malik was found guilty of possessing records likely to be used in an act of terrorism."
The materials included an al-Qaida manual, a booklet on mujahedeen poisons and bomb-making instructions.

It's all about the flow of the wrist.
Sharpen the knife to its maximum.
And before you begin to cut the flesh.
Tilt the fool's head to its left.

No doubt the punk will twitch and scream.

As a shop assistant at Heathrow airport, Malik was familiar with sensitive security procedures. She spent much of her time at work writing about her desire for martyrdom.
The judge gave her a nine-month suspended sentence but told her, "In many respects, you are a complete enigma to me."

Britain is being confronted with a wave of enigmas - the increasing number of British Muslim women who have taken to wearing not just the headscarf, but the full face veil known as the niqab.
This Islamic reawakening comes at a time when the British government is trying to enlist Muslim women in an effort to combat extremism. It has created the National Muslim Women's Advisory Group to give Muslim women a greater voice in British society.
But writer and researcher Munira Mirza says many young Muslim women are starting to embrace radical ideals and even to support al-Qaida.
"There is a misconception among politicians in Britain that if you involve women in the dialogue process, then somehow that will soften the men, which is obviously a misperception. Why should women be any less angry? Why should women be any less radicalized? It is actually quite a sexist idea that women are just softer," Mirza says.
Recent polls have shown that as many as four in 10 British Muslims want Sharia, the Islamic law, applied in Muslim-populated areas of Britain.
Sharia, which is practiced in many parts of the Islamic world, is a religious code of living. But it also specifies stoning and amputation as normal punishment for some crimes.

suburban, i can see the day not very far from now when we will stand up to the muslims here, the huge majority dont want them here and dont trust them..i feel its just a matter of whether we take to them openly and clear them out in one quick swoop or whether its done slowly and silently...and i think that will depend on what sort of a terrorist attack is carried out here, and how many are killed.another thing i will guarantee you is that when a terroist attack happens here the government better not try to use it as an excuse to take our guns...there are thousands like me who will report to the cops that our safes have been broken in to and our guns have been stolen!...theres no way we will ever allow a situation to develop here where terrorists have guns and we dont!...NO WAY!!!. if muslims dont like our country there is nothing stopping them going to indonesia and living there, they have the biggest population of muslims of any country so they will feel right at home. 0 -

I agree.... but then to the Liberal Minded that is wrong. They shoudl be allowed to spew whatever they want to under the disguise of freedom, but a lawful gun owner should be treated like a criminal. Thats my problem with Liberals they like to pick and choose what laws to follow and delete those they don't like.0 -

A. Will give up the idea because she is afraid she may go to jail if she gets caught commiting a crime.
B. She is bluffing but figures she can drain resources by having the authorties watching her.

--inconvenience the general populace
--expect special treatment that isn't available to all.
--attempt to get special legislation giving them special rights.
--promote hate against others
--commit crimes against other groups or the general populace.
--promote their religion to others in an unseemly or unwanted way.
--"clans-up" in groups, ignoring or shunning the general populace while benefiting from the general populace but not contributing to the general populace.
--try to promote their lifestyle or culture in an unseemly or unwanted way.
--try to avoid learning English, or embrace a foreign power detrimental to the well-being of the US.
