I know I am getting old for sure now....was flipping thru the channels on the tv and actually stopped and watched a few minutes of the Lawrence Welk Show. [V]

    Dude. We all like a little nostalgia. I remember watching it with my folks all the time. I have a friend who actually played on the show a few times. Ray Stahla. Very talented accordionist and helluva nice guy.

    On a similar vein, I used to enjoy watching Mitch Miller and his Men with my Grandma in the '50's. All excellent singers. Made recordings. Theme song from "The Longest Day" WWII movie was sung by them. (Composed by Paul Anka, BTW). Best, Joe
