Your consideration (not prayers) is needed

A friend of mine has a house fire yesterday. She is a single mom and has three kids. They are safe but the house is a total loss. They are going to have it tough for some time.


I would ask for prayers but that is now discouraged in our schools, in public, and here.

So if you would quietly ask for some good luck to be sent the way of this family it would be appreciated. If you want to close your eyes and look skyward, or even place your hands together on your knees when you do this it is appreciated.

Just remember- do not refer to this as praying or the thread may be deleted.

    I don't want to get your thread deleted, but I am praying for you friend. As someone who has been through two house fires, I can totally understand what she is dealing with. May God comfort her and her kids in their time of need.

    luck is a human quality that obviously failed, or the house wouldnt have burnt down.

    not me. from me they will get my PRAYERS. prayer works for both the deserving AND the undeserving.

    not by our own might, but HIS.

    im praying that they will find favor from God and compassion for their needs....in JESUS' name. amen.

    Mr. Warpig, you apparently misunderstood me, or maybe I wasn't clear. I have no problem with prayer threads, or on threads where religion is discussed. It is the BEHAVIOR I see displayed on some of those threads that is the problem, and what makes me watch religious topics closely.

    I pray your friend recovers quickly from her loss. I also hope she had insurance.
