.......of a new Springfield XD40 Subcompact. Went to the gunstore today in search of a Taurus Judge (they were sold out) and came home with the XD. Can't wait to shoot it. [:D][:D][:D]

    Just a Sam Adams Winter Lager. Since it's raining and can't go to the range I might as well imbibe in an adult beverage or two or three.

    Yep, came with the short mag, tall mag, holster, and mag loader. Got it for $442 NIB. Good deal I think, of course Monday I'll find it for $400.

    I doubt it. Ya done good with that deal, I'm thinking. I have his/her older bigger brother/sister--.45 ACP Compact--and am shopping for the smaller sibling--9mm SUBcompact. Haven't been able to find one of those for less than $469. [:(]

    It's got the longer mag/grip extension for target practice and when carrying concealed I only need one shot[;)] I have a Taurus PT140 that is the same size and the recoil/muzzle tip isn't too bad.

    Congratulations!!
    I've had my XD40SC since 2004. It's my daily carry. I like it so much I have the 4" version on layaway at my local dealer. It's barely used for $350. I just have to come up with another 150 and it's mine.
