Before it was a Marine Air Station it was a Naval Air Station. The Naval station was there long before the area was developed. Before the area was developed concerns were brought up about development causing problems for the Naval Air Base. What I was hearing was PLEEEESSSSEEEE let us build houses we will be good neighbors. Now it is whine whine whine. I couldn't help but smile after reading the story.[:D] 0 -

It's total BS.
Did you wonder how the Chip got a 300mph reading despite the fact that the aircraft supposedly, "...detected the presence of, and subsequently locked onto your hostile radar equipment and automatically sent a jamming signal back to it"?
Speed detection radar is an entirely different animal from anti-aircraft tracking systems and any of their their on-board equipment recognizes this.0 -

Fine. Thanks for the reality check. I realize, having given it deep and utterly serious reflection, that no one should be able to smile and appreciate humor until it's been fact-checked.
If it didn't, it should have. Hence the appeal of the story.0
