buying a Springfield XD9 sub comp

Im going to be buying a springfield xd9 sub compact (3" black)and of course Ive come across different prices at gun stores. the store I trust the most has a sticker price of $599 but they said they would sell for $480, then I got home and checked their web site and it said $450. so whats a fair price to expect? I want the whole kit & kaboodle; case, extended mag, lock, speed loader, and holster. when bought new it should come with all that right?

also I read on the springfield web site ( http://www.springfield-armory.com/xd.php ) that there will be a thumb safety added in 2008. anyone know if they are in stores now?

  I just bought a new XD 40SC for $442 and the 9's were the same price. Another gunstore I go to had them for $569.

  Website was probably before Jan 1 markup. all stores did that. 480 sounds steep, but that's probably about right these days.

  The most trusted dealer hereabouts offers'em for $479.

  Bought an XD-9mm (4" bar) ON GUNBROKER for $410.
  They sell them all the time for that.
  I know that's NOT the sub but it's way better than any 500 deal.
