Lawn Darts

I recently came across a set of Lawn Darts from the seventies at a garage sell. I bought them thinking I could sell them on ebay they are in the original box and very cool. I soon found out that ebay would not let me post these on there site. Does anyone know if I can sell them on Gunbroker or any where else?

    Keep them. Lawn Darts are fun. Especially if you get really good at them and can nail that pesky rabbit from across the yard.

    Lawn darts are on eBay's prohibited items list. GunBroker does not prohibit the sale of them.

    I agree, EBAY is really SUCKING!!!! we need to come up with a way to get the ebay folks to change over to GUNBROKER to do their shopping..The kicker for me wqs when they banned the sale of TC BARRELS, I mean, gosh, what good is a bbl without the rest of the gun which isalready banned from selling on ebay

    I'm not sure it's legal to sell them for delivery in the U.S. on GunBroker either.

    I have a buddy who organizes a Jarts tournament every summer. He told me that what people do is advertise the target rings for sale and Jarts or lawn darts are "thrown in". [pun intended]

    ...We modified the playing rules, so that if you caught the other guy's Jart in the air, you got a point. Sometimes, literally. If you merely knocked it from its flight path, it was assumed to be a ringer.

    I knew there were many injuries due to improper use and there was some debate about outlawing them but I didn't think it ever really happened.

    You really should cover your own liability if you sell them.

    I would suggest writing "Not for use by blind kids" on the box in big letters.

    Yeah right. When i was a kid playing horse shoes, a smaller
    kid ran in front of us when playing and caught the tip of one on the
    side of the head...made a nasty dent.[:0]

    I'll buy them, my kids loved playing with the ones I found at a yard sale. They since have broke the fins off and had to dispose of them. Put them up for auction and let me know......gumby

    When we used to go to my Uncles farm in the summer we used to use the lawn darts to dive bomb on the chickens running around the yard it made for some good eating.
