i am bidding on some ammo on the auction side and right now i am the high bidder. as the clock gets down to ten minutes i keep hitting the refresh button to watch the countdown in real time. it is not like i am getting a great deal on a rare firearm, it is just a few boxes of ammo. but, i like to be the winner every once in a while.

    yeah...and dont you hate it when some meanie gets their bid in with only 10 seconds to go![:(!]especially when the auction is for a week and you place your bid on the first day and no-one else bids until the last breath!..i hate that[V]

    I don't understand the morons that wait out until the last few seconds and then bid. The clock resets to 15 minutes. If I am going to bid, I bid with 16 minutes left on the clock.
    Best chance to win is if the high bid doofus forgets to check on the auction until a couple of minutes after it ends. By waiting until the last minute to bid, you have given him extra time to get his stuff together. [;)]

    I LOST...it was for .303 surplus ammo, and someone else kept putting bids in the last 15sec. after a couple of times it was more than i was willing to pay for surplus, when i can get new for almost the same price and no s/h.
